This workshop is part of a series of six energy workshops taking place across Oregon that will help rural communities identify energy savings and energy generation opportunities, and invest in local energy programs and projects.

All of the workshops are co-hosted by Sustainable Northwest, Lake County Resources Initiative, and Wallowa Resources. The Talent workshop is being developed in collaboration with Together for TalentRogue ClimateJackson Soil and Water Conservation DistrictRogue Valley Council of Governments, and the mayor of Talent. These leaders are pursuing investment in clean energy to help create a healthier environment for their community, grow the tax base, and save and keep money in their community.
