2019 June Field Tour Agenda

Please join us for the Nisqually Community Forest Field Tour!

This gathering will bring together land trust staff, community members, elected officials, forest land managers, and conservation leaders from across Oregon and Washington to network, share success stories, and develop solutions to community forest management challenges.

The Monday June 10th Field Tour will go from 9:30am-4:30pm and will be followed by an evening reception. On Tuesday June 11th there will be a NWCFC meeting from 9am-12pm.

Please contact us if you would like assistance with the registration process or need a discounted rate to attend.

The Nisqually Community Forest has been in existence since 2014 and has recently completed Phase I of their project. The group has acquired nearly 2,000 acres to support the watershed with forest products; recreation, education, and job opportunities; and environmental benefits such as clean water, healthy wildlife habitat, and carbon sequestration.
