Join the Making Energy Work for Rural Oregon coalition for a deep dive into agrivoltaics and the potential for dual-use solar siting in Oregon. Did you know that pairing solar and agriculture together, not only helps solve where solar can be sited but also results in positive co-benefits on the efficiency of both the solar panels and the crop production?

We will be joined by Guy Mcfeeters-Krone, SNW’s Energy and Agriculture Intern, who has been digging deep into the world of agrivoltaics, interviewing diverse stakeholders across the state, and analyzing the benefits, various use cases, and key challenges to agrivoltaic projects.

We are thrilled to have Amy Berg Pickett, a renewable energy developer with Sunstone Energy, also joining us. Amy brings deep expertise in renewable energy siting and permitting in Oregon, including dual-use and agrivoltaic projects.

To conclude the webinar, Michael Kluz and Brad Moore with Wy’East RC&D will provide essential updates on energy-specific funding opportunities available for agricultural producers, including the Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) and Energy Trust incentives.

We hope you can join us! Please register for the event below.
