2021 RPWS.jpg

Sustainable Northwest and the Energy Trust of Oregon are hosting a 2021 Resilience Planning for Local Governments Workshop in a response to recent and anticipated statewide natural disasters. This workshop will connect city and county staff with tools, resources, and organizations to plan and prepare for natural disasters.

Date: Friday, June 4th

Time: 9:30am – 12:30pm (Virtual on Zoom)

Who should attend?  Local municipal staff that support emergency management, economic development, planning, hazard mitigation planning, sustainability, or energy conservation are encouraged to attend.

What will be covered? Strategic planning and investments require local, regional, and federal collaboration. This workshop will identify how to integrate strategic and collaborative resilience planning into existing planning processes for capacity and resource-strapped communities. We will connect local municipal staff and regional partners with resources, tools, and organizations to overcome barriers and provide approachable, incremental steps to foster greater community resilience.
