Advancing a clean energy economy across Oregon

Sustainable Northwest in partnership with The Environmental Center hosted the third annual Fall Energy Symposium in Bend, Oregon on November 1 & 2, 2018. This 2-day event brought together community leaders, businesses, elected officials, ranchers, farmers, and agency partners to identify strategies to advance clean energy initiatives across Oregon. Bend's mayor-elect, Sally Russell, provided the 2018 lunchtime keynote. Sally addressed how municipal leadership is instrumental in passing a durable and actionable Climate Plan, and the importance of bringing community members together in a way that builds alignment across traditional party lines. Her presentation can be found below.
