Bethany supports SNW's Community Forests Program, assisting communities in achieving their forest management goals including protecting clean drinking water sources.
She holds a BS in Biology and Environmental Policy and Decision Making from the University of Puget Sound and is passionate about elevating the needs of rural communities and working at the nexus of science and policy.
Prior to joining SNW, she managed wildfire resilience projects and supported the Weaverville Community Forest in Northern California.
Bethany enjoys trail running, backpacking, and meeting extraordinary trees, like 'King Pondo' in Northern California.
