New E-Tractor Study Shows Economic, Health & Climate Benefits
A new study of electric tractors used on farms in Crook, Jackson, and Wasco counties in Oregon highlights the compelling case for the technology's economic, health, and climate benefits.
The studies, conducted by researchers at Oregon State University and Cadeo Group, shows the total ownership costs of electric tractors are equal to or lower than the costs of diesel-powered machines and demonstrates that e-tractors provide health benefits to farmworkers and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
