Collaborative Forest Landscape Restoration Program 15-year Report to Congress

A new report from the U.S. Forest Service shows us that working collaboratively to make forests more resilient to wildfire has been incredibly successful over the last 15 years.

Just one bit of proof: The forests that had been treated by removing small trees and brush and/or conducting prescribed burns, when a wildfire came to those forests, 83 percent of the time the fire was more controlled and less severe. That's a huge win. Forest treatments really do work to reduce wildfire risk!
