Northwest Community Forest Coalition Forum & Field Tour

The Northwest Community Forest Coalition Forum & Field Tour is a multi-day event that brings practitioners together to learn, share, and collaborate around opportunities for community forests across the region.

This year's forum will be in Enterprise, Oregon, hosted in partnership with Wallowa Resource, Wallowa Land Trust, Wallowa County, and more!

Tentative Agenda Includes:

  • Discussion of Development Approaches for Community Forestry in La Grande and Wallowa County.

  • A Panel around how Regional or National NGO’s support community led efforts in community forestry.

  • A Panel on managing recreation, hunting, and access on properties as ownership changes.

  • Session on Utilizing Alternative Funding Mechanisms to Leverage Community Forest Acquisitions.
