Greg is SNW’s Private Forestlands Program Director and has worked in environmental restoration and natural resource management for over a decade. He received an M.S. in Forest Ecology and Management from Michigan Technological University, where he studied wildfire severity and its effects on carbon cycling in the boreal forests of interior Alaska.

Greg has worked for the Washington Dept. of Natural Resources, where he managed state trust lands and worked with private landowners to accomplish forest health treatments.

Greg likes to adventure throughout the PNW with his wife, Julia, and their two dogs. Here is Nuka (left) & Bodhi (right), hiking the Rufus Creek trail in Bellingham, Washington.
